VISITOR / TOURIST VISA EXTENSION

Temporary Visitor’s Visa is available to foreign nationals who are traveling to the Philippines for these common purposes:

  1. Pleasure – for holiday or leisurely stay

  2. Business – may be of commercial, industrial/professional character but must be temporary in nature e.g. those who are attending international conferences, here to negotiate contracts and attend business meetings

  3. Health – provided not contagious, loathsome and/or dangerous diseases

There are two (2) classification of Temporary Visitor's Visa

​

1. Non-visa Required Nationals

 

Visitor / Tourist Visa holder granted (30) days to stay in Philippines for free. After 30 days, they may extend their tourist visa for another (29) days for visa waiver. After (59) days of stay in the Philippines, foreign nationals are required to pay for Alien Certificate Registration Card or ACR I-Card.

An ACR I-Card is a microchip based, credit card-sized, identification card issued to all registered aliens whose stay in the Philippines has exceeded fifty-nine (59) days. It also has embedded computer chip with biometric security features capable of data management and can be updated electronically.
